Kendo (剣道 kendō), meaning "Way of The Sword", is a modern Japanese martial art of sword-fighting based on traditional swordsmanship (kenjutsu) which originated with the samurai class of feudal Japan.
Kendo is a physically and mentally challenging activity that combines strong martial arts practices and values with sport-like strenuous physical activity
Welcome to Studio city Kendo dojo! We have been training and sharing the benefits of Kendo martial arts in Studio city for over ten years. Our Kendo Dojo (Studio) at the Bridge Academy provides the perfect backdrop for developing the skill and determination needed to succeed in Kendo.Studio city Kendo dojo is filled by professional and experienced instructor who have dedicated their lives to sharing the power of Kendo with community. All of our instructors are certified black belts, with no less than ten years of training experience.Regardless of your age or level of experience, we have a program that is tailored just for you.
At our dojo, we do not only teach the kendo techniques, but we also build character through inner-strength, courage, vision, respect, and discipline. The spiritual side of martial arts is not ignored.
Come in for a free tryout ! We offer a patient, supportive atmosphere. All ages welcome !
